Don’t let others manipulate you!
The Pied Pipers of advertising, politics, and cults survive only because people allow themselves to be manipulated. They employ simplistic reasoning dressed up in catchy phrases. They mislead converts with their half-baked ideas and simplifications. They lure people in by seeming to offer them a ready-made, problem-free lifestyle, one in which personal decision making is replaced with group think. How do you avoid being taken in?
Do not follow where a path may lead.
Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
Put your future in good hands – your own.

Bruno’s commentary
The answer is simple: Think for yourself and always, always try to look behind the scenes. When you have confidence in yourself, you’re not easily manipulated. You dare to challenge other people’s opinions and what they want you to do and often you find their true and hidden motives. However, it is important to recognize that this is not true all the time. But if someone emphasizes his opinion too much, it helps to be a bit suspiscious. Trust in yourself and you will begin a voyage of discovery. You’ll be amazed at the results.
Don’t be a bobblehead doll. Think for yourself!
